Prof / Dr Marc Gartenberg serves  as Chief Operations Officer and Chair of The CyberWarfare Centre Studies in  Diplomacy, Military and Intelligence within the Centre for Strategic Cyberspace  + Security Science. Prior to this, he spent over 25 years as a successful  entrepreneur – providing leadership and strategic guidance for over a dozen US  Federal Agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security. He also led  the contract team at the US Department of Defense and chaired the DoD FISMA  Committee. 
He was recognised by the  State Department with a Meritorious Achievement Award for his role as Chief of  Global Technology Training and in support of The Bureau of Information Resource  Management’s numerous technology upgrades around the globe.  He led installation of the Classified Network  at the American Embassy in Beijing, and trained hundreds of Foreign Nationals  in support of the State Department.
Marc has worked under  the Presidential Administration’s of Clinton, Bush, and Obama, and was  instrumental in developing the Program Plan for cyber-educations as part of the  Bush and Obama Comprehensive National Security Cybersecurity Initiative. 
He holds two Master’s  of Science, and completed all doctoral coursework while on a joint Fellowship  of The National Security Agency and National Science Foundations at the  University of Tulsa and Syracuse University.
